World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it gains an initial damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Some upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional features. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. They generally require that the item has an upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item itself.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded using the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon level.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade, it can then be rebuilt to add additional effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and the effects are based on the nature of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify standard weapons.
In general, it's best to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can increase your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other gear. This will increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments, which can be very efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of specific pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, additional damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as rewards for quests.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for any type of armor, but certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's defense base or strength. Some upgrade components, however, can lead to significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that are useful for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor could require multiple attempts, depending on the type. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor that has the base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can improve a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. Some armors offer a significant boost to the reduction of damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain types of builds. There are also item upgrades to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. item upgrader unlocks a brand new level of potion effect and can be repeated to get more tiers of potency.
The potions also have the ability to select a custom color that can be chosen by the player using /give. This color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, a common potions that are thick and awkward now have a brand new texture for brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness have been added. There are lingering potions available that can be made with dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace or ring. Or even a small banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more prevalent. The trinket, at its current level makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more common and gives every floor an probability of Y% that it contains an ebony-colored replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of this enchanted scepter seems to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to generate grass and water. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or items that are generated to solve the dangers in rooms.
This item, which appears like eyes of a newt appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond just decreasing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within the Y tile. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket that needs to be upgraded, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have a random effect on the trinket either increasing its duration or strengthening its effects. You can reforge a Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have an impact that is different from the one you had when you first made it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
